Job summary

Shema Kolainu – Hear Our Voices in New York seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Early Intervention Program for children aged 0-3 with ASD and related developmental disabilities. You will work with families and an interdisciplinary team to support growth in communication, play, and daily routines.

The role emphasizes individualized treatment plans, comprehensive assessments, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
1 year of experience in pediatric therapy setting.
New York State license required.

Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy services to children aged 0-3 with ASD and related developmental disabilities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with families and interdisciplinary teams.
Conduct assessments, evaluations, and therapy sessions to address occupational therapy needs.
Collaborate with other professionals, such as ABA therapists and special education teachers, to ensure comprehensive support.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and therapy sessions.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy.
