The ideal candidate holds an LSW license and demonstrates empathy, strong communication, and the ability to work with diverse populations while documenting findings and coordinating services.

Qualifications

• BS degree in social work (BSW) or related field is required or preferred.
• Active LSW license or certification is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of social theories and practices.
• Ability to relate and communicate with diverse populations.
• Experience with early intervention services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Making home visits to evaluate a child's living conditions and parent-child interactions.
• Preparing a social or emotional development assessment within the family context.
• Identifying and coordinating community resources for Early Intervention Services.
• Assisting families in understanding a child's special needs and development.
• Maintain accurate records and report on the child's status.
• Attend meetings and conferences.
