Qualifications

• BS degree in social work (BSW) or related field is required or preferred.
• Active LSW license or certification is required.

• Experience with early intervention services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Making home visits to evaluate a child's living conditions and parent-child interactions.
• Preparing a social or emotional development assessment within the family context.
• Identifying and coordinating community resources for Early Intervention Services.
• Assisting families in understanding a child's special needs and development.
• Maintain accurate records and report on the child's status.
• Attend meetings and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Making home visits to evaluate a child's living conditions and patterns of parent-child interaction.
• Preparing a social or emotional development assessnment of the child within the family context.
• Identifying, mobilizing, and coordinating community resource and services to enable child and family to receive maximum benefit from Early Intervention Services.
• Assisting the family of a child understanding the special needs of the child and enchancing the child's development.
• Maintain accurate records and report on the childs’ status

Requirements And Skills

• Proven work experience as a Social Worker
