Job summary

The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit in Norristown, PA seeks a Long-Term Substitute Speech and Language Pathologist to support Early Intervention services for 3–5 year olds within the Office of Early Childhood Services.

Responsibilities include direct speech-language services, student evaluations, parent/professional collaboration, writing IEPs and re-evaluation reports, and participation in IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech & Language Pathology is required.
• PA certification as a School Speech and Language Pathologist is required.
• PA licensure as an SLP or eligibility for licensure is required.
• Current Police, Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances are required.
• Experience delivering speech services to children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct service to students with speech and language disorders in classrooms, homes, and educational sites.
• Evaluate students in speech and language as needed.
• Consult with parents and other professionals regarding speech and language.
• Write IEPs and re-evaluation reports.
• Participate in IEP meetings.
