Job summary

The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit #23 is seeking a Speech & Language Pathologist to provide Early Intervention preschool services to children ages 3-5. The role is located in Norristown, PA, with duties including direct service, evaluations, family consultations, IEP documentation, and collaboration in IEP meetings.

The position requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, PA certification as a School SLP, PA licensure (or eligibility), and state/federal clearances.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Valid PA certification as a School Speech and Language Pathologist.
• Valid PA licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist or eligible for licensure.
• Current Police, Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required.
• Experience with delivering speech services to children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct service to students with speech and language disorders in classrooms, homes, and/or educational sites.
• Evaluate students in the areas of speech and language as needed.
• Consult with parents and other professionals regarding speech and language.
• Write IEPs and re-evaluation reports.
• Participate in IEP meetings.
