Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. seeks a Speech and Language Pathologist (Fee-for-Service) to join its Early Intervention program serving children from birth to three in the Medford area.

The role emphasizes hands-on, family-centered coaching with caregivers and a transdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include assessing communication skills, planning remediation, delivering EI services, tracking IFSP goals with families, and collaborating with team members across disciplines.

Qualifications

• SLP license required.
• Experience working with infant and early childhood population preferred.
• Massachusetts driver’s license required.
• Bilingual candidates may receive a salary increase (6% if fluent in a needed language).

Responsibilities

• Assess children’s communication skills (speech, language, cognition, augmentative communication).
• Plan and implement remediation programs for communication disorders.
• Deliver transdisciplinary EI services to children and families.
• Develop and track IFSP goals in collaboration with families.
• Collaborate with team members, provide assessments/reports, and offer in-service training.
