Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our home-based Early Intervention team serving infants and toddlers with developmental needs.

You will work within families' homes and community settings, delivering multidisciplinary PT services to support developmental goals. Responsibilities include following IFSPs, using parent coaching to empower caregivers, and documenting progress with routine reassessments.

Qualifications

  • California Physical Therapy (DPT) license is required.
  • Pediatric experience in Early Intervention preferred.
  • Home-based service delivery experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct developmental assessments and provide physical therapy services in the child’s natural environment.
  • Follow each child’s IFSP and collaborate with families to set development goals.
  • Use family-centered parent coaching to build caregiver confidence and generalize progress.
  • Provide services in homes, daycare centers, or community settings.
  • Prepare re-assessments and write progress reports (bi-annual).
  • Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
