Job summary

Criterion Child Enrichment seeks an Early Intervention Occupational Therapist to support families with developmental delays in young children. This full-time role involves providing educational and supportive services in various settings, including homes and community.

The candidate will collaborate with a team, participate in child assessments, and use effective communication skills. A minimum degree in Occupational Therapy and a current license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist by Massachusetts Board required.
• Two years of pediatric experience preferred.

Early Intervention Occupational Therapist

• Compensation: USD 65,000 - USD 69,000 - yearly

About Us:

Our Early Intervention programs provide services to families with children birth to 3 years of age with developmental delays or at risk for developmental delays. The primary focus of early intervention is to provide education, training, and support to families to help their children learn and grow. We provide services in the home, at our early intervention centers, and in the community.

Full Time, Part Time, and FFS Positions Available

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all areas of infant-toddler development.

Utilize a parent coaching model in work with families.

Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as a member of a trans-disciplinary team.

Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area.

Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services for families including child care providers, medical providers, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing/vision loss.

Provide service coordination to assigned caseload including coordinating the development, monitoring, and review of the Individual Family Service Plan.

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Allied Professional Health.
• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, and Office365 including Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Ability to use computer-based technology including a computer/laptop and cell phone
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
