Job summary

MECA Therapies LLC is seeking compassionate Developmental Specialists to join our Early Intervention team in Hobbs, NM. You will work with families and an interdisciplinary group to promote child development across cognitive, communication, motor, social-emotional, and adaptive domains in natural settings.

There are positions for DS I Advanced, DS II, and DS III, with opportunities for professional certification, flexible scheduling, and strong mentorship within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent as outlined by NM FIT policy.
• Bachelor's degree for DS II and Master’s for DS III eligibility per NM FIT policy.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Special Instruction services to infants and toddlers birth to three in natural environments.
• Coach families on strategies that support development during daily routines.
• Develop individualized intervention plans based on IFSP outcomes.
• Collaborate with families, therapists, and community partners.
• Complete documentation promptly and accurately; maintain HIPAA compliance.
