Qualifications

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; present information to students in small groups.
Basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to instructions and to handle problems with several concrete variables.
Must complete and maintain first aid, CPR, and Handle With Care (HWC) or CPI training as appropriate.

Responsibilities

Assist professional staff with instructional delivery, supervision, and student care.
Perform clerical, record-keeping, and instructional support duties as required by the teacher or support professional.
Carry out instructional, technical, behavioral, or therapeutic activities under supervision.
Perform other duties as assigned by the teacher or support professional and approved by the Program Supervisor.
