Job summary

Breakthrough Central Texas is seeking an Early High School Student Advising & Program Coordinator (Temporary) to provide high-quality academic advising and career/postsecondary planning for 9th and 10th graders, helping them explore postsecondary options before 11th grade. In-person and virtual advising formats are used, with data tracked in Salesforce and regular team collaboration.

The role requires coordinating interventions, maintaining records, and engaging families while contributing

Qualifications

Experience advising early high school students in academic or postsecondary planning contexts preferred.
Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools for tracking student data and case notes.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Flexibility to adapt to both in-person and virtual advising formats as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide timely, high quality academic advising and mentoring to a caseload of 45-60 students.
Coordinate academic and non-academic interventions in response to student needs.
Maintain accurate student records and timely data entry in Salesforce.
Collaborate with supervisor and teammates in weekly meetings and programwide events.
