ALLEGAN COUNTY RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE INC is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher to provide developmentally appropriate instructional experiences for preschool children in Michigan. Status: Variable Salary
Range: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Must meet the State of Michigan Child Care Licensing Standards for a lead caregiver and the Head Start requirements including a Child Development Associates Credential, with an Infant and Toddler Development Focus, awarded by the Council for Professional Development and have 480 hours of childcare experience. AA in Early Childhood Education or equivalent as defined by Head Start regulations is preferred. Pass pre-employment physical, TB test. Be certified in Infant/Child and Adult CPR and Basic First Aid.
Teacher for Early Head Start is responsible for providing instructional experiences for the preschool child for adequate development in the social, emotional, physical, and educational processes. Teacher will possess knowledge and understanding of early childhood development, develop appropriate goals and objectives, and collaborate with the Co-Teacher and plan together.
