Job summary

People Incorporated of Virginia is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher Assistant to support classroom teachers in the Child and Family Development program at our Frederick County center. The role focuses on individualized instruction, collaboration with staff, and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment for diverse children.

Responsibilities include assisting with health assessments, data entry, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum three months classroom experience working with children.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation required.
• CDA required within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers with direct instructional activities and individualization for students.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with child health assessments and maintain accurate data entry and documentation.
