As a Teacher, you will assist the Lead Teacher by modifying curricula, completing assessments, and supporting children's development through quality learning experiences. JFCAC Head Start is a federally funded program supporting school readiness for children aged birth to 5 years in poverty.

Job Duties

• Integrate High Scope Curriculum into daily practice
• Prepare the classroom environment to support developmentally appropriate practices
• Plan and participate in family activity events
• Support families as the primary educators of their children
• Attend training and professional development
• Ensure accurate completion of all documentation
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment

Qualifications

• Current Infant/Toddler or Preschool CDA required; Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or related field preferred with at least 9 ECE credits
• Work experience in early childhood preferred
• Experience with low-income families, childcare, health, or education preferred
