Job summary

Innovative Network of Knowledge in Roswell, NM is seeking an Early Head Start educator who will implement age-appropriate curriculum for infants and toddlers and collaborate with families to support readiness for school.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, and the Infant/Toddler CDA within 6 months. Completion of First Aid and CPR is required, with preference for bilingual Spanish speakers and 2 years in Early Head Start settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CDA within 6 months of employment.
• Infant/Toddler CDA must be completed within 6 months.
• First Aid and CPR certifications to be obtained and maintained.
• Prefer bilingual (Spanish).
• Prefer 2 years of related Early Head Start classroom experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend required training, workshops, and staff meetings.
• Remain up to date on Head Start standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with education staff, parents, and Parent Committee to implement curriculum.
• Maintain confidentiality per policies (FERPA & HIPAA).
• Supervise classroom and outdoor activities.
• Plan developmentally appropriate Frog Street curriculum.
• Document and provide Part C Service Coordination for children with special needs.
• Support learning experiences strengthening literacy, numeracy, and language development.
• Engage families in learning and parent involvement activities.
