Job summary

60 Innovative Network of Knowledge in Roswell, NM is hiring an Early Head Start educator with a High School diploma or GED and CDA certification. First Aid and CPR certifications are required, with a preference for bilingual (Spanish) applicants.

You will support children and families in a collaborative team. Responsibilities include implementing Frog Street Infants & Toddlers curriculum, coordinating with parents and staff, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with Head Start

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with CDA certification.
• First Aid and CPR certifications required.
• Prefer bilingual (Spanish).
• Preference given to HeadStart employees, students or parents if qualified.

Responsibilities

• Attend required trainings, workshops, and staff meetings.
• Stay updated on Head Start standards, licensing regs, IDEA; ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with education staff, parents and Parent Committee to implement meaningful curriculum.
• Maintain confidentiality per policies, FERPA and HIPPA.
• Promote developmentally appropriate practices and social-emotional growth.
• Plan and implement Frog Street Infants & Toddlers curriculum for ages served.
• Document PartC Service Coordination for children with special needs and communicate with leadership.
• Supervise classroom activities and family engagement events.
