Job summary

Central Council Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes seeks an Early Head Start Manager to support the Head Start Director in program management and staff development. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Human Services, or a related field.
• Two (2) years progressively responsible supervisory/administrative experience in Early Childhood Education/Development.
• 21+ years of age with a valid Alaska driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop Early Head Start staff; coach and mentor staff.
• Assist with preparing and submitting the Early Head Start grant and required reports.
• Monitor compliance with Head Start component requirements and performance standards.
• Coordinate staff trainings, performance evaluations, and development plans.
• Manage center budget and liaise with Head Start Coordination team for services.
