Job summary

South Shore Community Action Council, Inc. is expanding its Early Head Start/Infant Toddler program in Wareham, MA, and seeks caring early childhood educators to join new Toddler classrooms after training at our Plymouth facility.

Full-time position, 37.5 hours weekly, with orientation, ongoing support, and competitive hourly rates based on CDA/AA/BA credentials. All candidates must complete CORI, DCF, SORI and fingerprint checks.

Qualifications

• EEC Lead Teacher Infant/Toddler certification required.
• Background checks (CORI, DCF, SORI, fingerprint) are part of the hiring process.
• Candidates must be available for full-time, 37.5 hours weekly, with no nights or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation and classroom training for new Infant/Toddler classrooms.
• Transition successful trainees to Wareham location after training.
• Help grow and maintain high‑quality learning environments for young children.

OPPORTUNITIES EARLY HEAD START/ INFANT TODDLER TEACHERS- We are expanding! South Shore Early Education and Care is expanding! We are opening new Toddler classrooms at our recently renovated Wareham facility and are looking for caring, dedicated early childhood educators to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team now and receive training and support as you are transitioning into one of our new Infant/Toddler Classrooms.

Position Details

Full-Time

37.50 hours per week 52 weeks per year Monday?Friday No nights or weekends

Benefits / Compensation

• Comprehensive benefits for eligible employees
• Competitive starting hourly rates commensurate with experience
• CDA: $24.60/hour
• AA/AS: $25.62/hour
• BA/BS: $27.67/hour

Minimum Qualification

• EEC Lead Teacher? Infant/Toddler certification required

Preferred Qualifications

• CDA in Early Childhood Education
• Associate degree or bachelor?s degree in early childhood education or a related field
• Previous experience working with infants and toddlers

Upon hire, successful candidates will receive orientation, classroom training, and ongoing support to prepare them for their role in our new Infant/Toddler classrooms at our established Infant Toddler facility in Plymouth. Once all training is completed, you will transition to the Wareham location.
