Job summary

Mybrightpoint is seeking an Early Head Start Home Visitor to partner with families in the home, helping parents foster learning opportunities and strengthen parenting skills. The role emphasizes using the home as the primary learning environment and guiding child growth.

You will conduct developmental screenings, coordinate health services, and support families toward self-sufficiency while modeling respectful, supportive interactions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Education, Social Services, or a related field.
• Experience in Early Childhood Education or home visiting preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel; able to work in an online database.
• Ability to work outside the office with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.
• Must obtain Home Visitor CDA within 12 months of hire.
• Must become certified in First Aid and CPR within twelve months.

Responsibilities

• Work weekly with parents to improve parenting skills and use the home as a learning environment.
• Assist families to create a safe, secure environment supporting child development.
• Screen infants/toddlers using ASQ within 45 days of enrollment.
• Help families obtain medical and dental care and maintain EPSDT schedules.
• Develop self-sufficiency goals with families.
• Develop warm, respectful relationships modeling positive interactions.
• Conduct ongoing development assessments with parents and plan sequential activities.
