The Centers is seeking a Home Visitor to support families enrolled in Early Head Start and Head Start (0-5) through the Smart Start Home Visiting Program in the Cleveland area. The role focuses on recruitment, enrollment, care coordination, and implementing curriculum components while empowering families.

You will visit families weekly, collaborate with parents, document progress, and connect families with community resources.

Qualificações

• Experience in child development and early childhood education.
• Completion of Growing Great Kids Curriculum Training required after hire.
• Certification in First Aid, communicable disease and child abuse recognition required after hire.
• Valid Driver’s License, with proof of valid insurance required.
• No record of child abuse or moral turpitude as determined by background check.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Screening, Observation, Assessment, and Curriculum Planning.
• Visit families once per week for 90 minutes per visit; ensure parent participation; cover components each visit; conduct make-up visits.
• Administer screenings and assessments and maintain children’s records.
• Collaborate with parents to plan and implement weekly lessons.
• Conduct Parent/Teacher conferences twice yearly to review assessments.
• Collaborate with families on transitions and immunization records.
