Job summary

Community Services for Children, Inc. is seeking a Child Development Partner for its Head Start/Early Head Start Home Visitation Program.

The role delivers weekly in-home services to pregnant women, infants, and toddlers, and partners with families to promote healthy development and parenting. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a related field, at least three years' experience with infants and toddlers, a valid driver's license, and the ability to transport families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Three years of experience working with infants and toddlers.
• Valid driver's license and access to a car.
• Willingness to work evenings and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver weekly comprehensive services to children and families in their homes.
• Provide individualized education on prenatal and child development, parenting and promote a healthy family lifestyle.
• Partner with parents to provide activities, experiences, and resources that support healthy births, children ready to learn, and stable families.
• Provide bimonthly classroom experiences for children and parents to support positive interactions.
• Promote parents as their child's first and most important teacher.
• Model and support positive, nurturing parent-child relationships.
