Job summary

BASIS Ed Texas is seeking an Early Education Teacher to join our bright, passionate team in the Austin Metro area. You will evaluate student growth, communicate with families, and provide differentiated instruction while implementing IEPs/504 plans with fidelity.

Minimum qualifications include Texas work eligibility and a Bachelor's in Education; a Master’s is preferred. The position offers strong benefits and opportunities for professional growth, with a focus on high standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Eligible to work in Texas Public Schools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related subject. Ability to obtain TEA fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students’ academic and social growth and prepare progress reports.
• Communicate with parents via email, conferences, and other means to discuss student progress.
• Identify student needs and collaborate with Subject Experts or other staff to help students solve health, attitude, and learning problems.
• Provide differentiated instruction and implement IEPs and 504 Plans with fidelity.
• Substitute/duty coverage as needed.
• Supervise students during classroom transitions throughout the day.
• Represent BASIS Ed Texas at designated school wide community events outside of typical school hours.
