Job summary

BASIS Curriculum Schools in the Austin Metro area seeks an Early Education Teacher to join a bright, passionate team. The position requires a Bachelor’s in Education or related subject and TEA fingerprint clearance, with preferred Master’s degree and 3+ years of elementary teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related subject (required).
• Ability to obtain valid fingerprint clearance through TEA.
• Eligible to work in Texas Public Schools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students’ academic and social growth and prepare progress reports.
• Communicate with parents via email, conferences, and other means to discuss student progress.
• Identify student needs and collaborate with Subject Experts or staff for health, attitude, and learning support.
• Provide differentiated instruction and execute IEPs and 504 Plans with fidelity.
• Substitute/duty coverage as needed and supervise students during transitions.
• Represent BASIS Ed Texas at school events outside typical hours when required.
