Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring full-time teachers to nurture infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in Arlington Heights, IL. The role focuses on hands-on activities, strong parent communication, and maintaining a safe, clean classroom in line with Bright Horizons policies.

Qualified candidates will meet IL requirements and have or pursue CDA/degree in early education; background checks are required and on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Pass state and company background checks and meet minimum education: 18+ with HS diploma or GED.
• Related college-level coursework or CDA is required.
• 1 year of professional teaching experience in child care/preschool preferred.
• CDA/Associate/bachelor’s degree in early education preferred.
• IL Teacher Qualified: 60 sem hrs (or 90 qtr hrs) in related child care courses or 1560 hours with 30 sem/45 qtr hrs in related fields, or CDA.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
