Job summary

KinderCare Education is seeking a Program Specialist to bring our curriculum to life in centers nationwide. You’ll develop and lead programs from classroom implementation to ongoing enhancements, ensuring teachers can articulate what children are learning.

You’ll spend the majority of your time in classrooms mentoring teachers, partnering with families, and supporting center leadership to hit enrollment, accreditation, and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Build relationships with families and coworkers to create a dynamic learning environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• Approved State Trainer experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with NAEYC/NAC and state licensing requirements is preferred.
• Must meet state-specific program guidelines and safety standards.
• Able to use a computer; lift up to 40 pounds; work indoors or outdoors.
• Read/write/speak English to communicate with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Ensure curriculum is presented as intended and teachers can discuss learning goals.
• Spend 75% of time in the classroom educating children and mentoring teachers.
• Partner with parents to provide high-quality care and education.
• Train, motivate and lead staff; assist with interviewing and hiring of teachers.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and operations.
