Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies seeks a Program Specialist to bring our curriculum to life in centers. You’ll develop and lead programs from classroom implementation to ongoing enhancements, ensuring teachers can discuss what children are learning while supporting center leadership.

In this role, you’ll spend most of your time in classrooms mentoring teachers and engaging with families to deliver high-quality care and education. Minnesota pay adjustments may apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers in a dynamic play-and-discovery environment.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Approved State Trainer (preferred).
• NAEYC/NAC, and state licensing knowledge (preferred).
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors/outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Present the curriculum as intended and enable teachers to articulate learning goals.
• Spend 75% of time in the classroom educating children and mentoring teachers.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Train, motivate and lead staff and assist center management with interviewing and hiring.
• Support center success by partnering with staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and operational goals.
