Job summary

Joyoflearningcenter is seeking a Cook to fuel our children’s day and support classroom activities. You’ll prepare breakfast, lunch and a snack, plan meals, order supplies, and ensure clean, sanitary kitchen areas.

You must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and prior cooking experience in a fast-paced setting is preferred. This is a full-time on-site role with in-house training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen or Early Education setting preferred.
• Ability to cook for children with awareness of allergies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast, lunch and a snack for each classroom.
• Plan meals, order supplies, prep and clean up.
• Maintain sanitation and organized kitchen areas.
• Support supervision in classrooms or front office during shortages.
