Job summary

People Incorporated in Fall River, MA is seeking an Early Education Center Assistant Director to support the Director in daily operations and program quality. This full-time role emphasizes safety, high-quality early education, staff supervision and regulatory compliance, with no holidays, evenings or weekends required.

The position offers 4 weeks vacation, tuition assistance and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in early childhood education or related field.
• MA EEC Director II certification required; Preschool/Infant-Toddler Lead Teacher cert preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in early childhood education with supervisory role.
• Knowledge of MA EEC licensing regulations and NAEYC accreditation standards.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily center operations in partnership with the Director.
• Ensure safe, healthy, engaging learning environments for all children.
• Manage enrollment processes, including tours, orientations, and waitlists.
• Maintain required regulatory records and documentation.
• Supervise staff and support professional development.
• Engage families and community partners.
