You will assist hands-on activities, communicate milestones to parents, and maintain a safe classroom according to Bright Horizons policies and state guidelines. Candidates must pass background checks and meet education requirements; a CDA or higher is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pass required state and company background checks.
• 18 years of age with a HS diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child’s daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Fulfill mandated reporter requirements as defined by the appropriate State agency, including reporting any suspected cases of child abuse or neglect to the agency and informing the director.
