Job summary

Bright Horizons at Wilton, CT, seeks an Assistant Teacher to support early education for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Full-time and part-time roles are available in a caring center environment, with opportunities to pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost.

You will assist with activities, communicate with families, and help maintain a safe classroom consistent with Bright Horizons policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Background checks required by state and Bright Horizons.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of child care experience preferred.
• CDA/Associate/Bachelor's in early education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet children's needs and interests.
• Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe, clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines.
• Fulfill mandated reporter requirements and notify the director of concerns.
