Job summary

Wheeler Clinic in New Britain, CT seeks a Program Manager to oversee our therapeutic child care program. The role offers clinical supervision, administrative oversight, and direct counseling to children ages 3-5 and their families within an interdisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will hold a graduate degree in a related field, have 3 years of relevant experience, and be eligible for CT licensure (LCSW/LPC/LMFT or Licensed Clinical Psychologist) with IMH-E III endorsement eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related clinical field with 3 years of experience with young children.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and administrative oversight for the program.
• Conduct assessments and develop clinical formulations and treatment plans.
• Deliver child and family counseling and trauma-informed interventions in early childhood classrooms.
• Coordinate with caregivers, classroom staff, and services agencies to support family needs.
• Provide reflective supervision to staff and ensure adherence to trauma-informed approaches.
