Job summary

Kids for the Future in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an in-home and clinic-based Early Childhood Therapist to deliver group and individual services to children birth to five and their families, using the Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) model to strengthen the parent-child relationship.

The role includes in-home assessments, treatment, and community-based consultation, with a focus on social, emotional, and behavioral development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or related field from accredited college is required
• Training in DC 0- 5 Diagnostic Assessments is required
• One year of supervised clinical experience or completion of related internship is required
• Valid MN licensure as a Mental Health Professional is required

Responsibilities

• Provide in home and clinic-based services to children ages birth to five and their families
• Deliver group therapy and skills interventions as part of the treatment team
• Utilize CPP and Developmental Repair frameworks to support parent–child relationships
• Perform assessments, treatment planning, and care coordination with other professionals
• Maintain documentation and participate in supervision and professional development
