Job summary

Grow NJ Kids seeks a Technical Assistance Specialist to deliver comprehensive support to child care providers in New Jersey. The role includes mentoring, coaching, and assisting programs to improve quality using ERS tools and family engagement practices.

The ideal candidate will guide providers through goal setting, implement quality improvements, and provide ongoing training and site-based TA, while maintaining thorough documentation and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood (or related field) with 3 years’ experience.
• Experience providing professional development to adults is preferred.
• Knowledge of ERS tools (ECERS, ITERS, FCCERS) and family engagement concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring, coaching, and technical assistance to Grow NJ Kids providers.
• Develop goals with providers and support implementation of quality improvements.
• Write onsite reports and progress notes after site visits.
• Deliver trainings and facilitate ongoing TA to improve program practices.
• Maintain timely reporting and documentation of activities and outcomes.
• Coordinate with community partners to support provider resources.
