Job summary

Apple Montessori Schools is seeking an enthusiastic Specialty Teacher - Technology to introduce preschool- and elementary-aged students to technology, STEM, coding, and robotics through engaging, hands-on learning experiences.

The ideal candidate will create a positive, inclusive classroom that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and problem-solving, with schedule Tuesday and Friday 8:30 am–1:00 pm in Wayne, NJ.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching STEM, coding, robotics, or technology-based lessons to elementary students.
• Familiarity with internet safety and digital citizenship.
• Ability to create engaging, hands-on lessons aligned to curriculum standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver age-appropriate lessons in technology, STEM, coding, and robotics.
• Introduce basic coding concepts using Scratch and Blockly.
• Teach internet safety and responsible online behavior.
• Create weekly lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Differentiate instruction for varying abilities and tech experience.
• Assess progress through projects, observations, and activities.
