Job summary

The Center for Learning and Belonging at Achieving True Self is seeking a Daycare Teacher who will create a safe, fun learning environment for young children. You will guide activities, read stories, and help with projects to bring home for the fridge while ensuring safe bus transitions and nutritious meals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years or 2,500 hours of verifiable employment with children.
• Pass extensive background checks before routine contact with children.
• CPR certification preferred (training provided).
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing daily activities under supervisor guidance.
• Assist daycare aides and maintain children's well-being.
• Support safe bus loading and unloading each day.
• Supervise and interact with children in a safe, respectful manner.
• Encourage good hygiene and diaper changes as needed.
• Keep interactive areas clean and participate in meals/snacks.
• Attend and contribute to team meetings regularly.
• Support center operations to ensure smooth functioning.
