Job summary

The Center for Learning and Belonging at Achieving True Self is seeking a Daycare Director to oversee daily operations, staff, and the safety and well-being of children. You will play a pivotal role in creating a warm, safe environment that supports learning and growth.

You will administer finances, program objectives, and compliance with PA regulations. Collaborating with parents, teachers, and leadership, you will drive high-quality early childhood education and maintain a positive work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood, child development, special education, elementary education or human services with 1 year of experience with children.
• Alternate credentials include 30 credits from a Bachelor’s or Associate’s program plus relevant experience (2–4 years).
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities; excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administering finances, personnel, maintenance, meal planning and transportation.
• Administering the facility’s program objectives and activities.
• Coordinating daily activities with group supervisors or assistants.
• Leading curriculum implementation and staff evaluations.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance (PA Code Chapter 3270) and safety of children.
