Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher to support children’s learning and development at our Torrington location. You will deliver the curriculum, foster a safe and engaging classroom, and partner with families to ensure quality care and education for each child.

You will collaborate with center staff to meet enrollment and accreditation goals, while building positive relationships with families and community partners. It’s a team-focused role with meaningful impact on young learners.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and organization are essential.
• Willingness to meet state-specific qualifications for the role.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Physical ability to lift 40 pounds and to work indoors or outdoors.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Implement KinderCare curriculum in line with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support the center’s enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and partners.
