The Early Childhood Teacher I supports an assigned classroom, working with children ranging from birth to 5 years. This role provides hands‑on care and assistance to ensure each child’s safety, health, and well‑being while promoting growth across cognitive, physical, social, and emotional domains. The Teacher I helps implement developmentally appropriate, play‑based lessons, observes and supports children’s progress, and partners with families to encourage learning. Collaboration with lead teachers, other educators, and administrators is essential to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Associate degree in early childhood education or a closely related field, or Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential preferred.
