Job summary

Celebree School is hiring an Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our supportive Celebree Team in a full-time role (30+ hours per week). You will create a welcoming classroom, implement age-appropriate lessons, and maintain engaging displays aligned with Celebree's curriculum and weekly themes.

You will supervise children, use positive discipline, partner with families, and support the assistant teacher to keep the classroom running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate will have an AA (or credit equivalent) degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education, Psychology, Child Development, Family Studies or a similar discipline.

Responsibilities

• Teach infants/toddlers per Celebree curriculum and weekly themes.
• Maintain a welcoming classroom environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and manage transitions between activities.
• Assist and supervise children during activities; use positive, age-appropriate discipline.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s development and classroom happenings.
• Provide support and direction to the assistant teacher to keep the classroom orderly.
