  • Implements lesson plans and daily schedule in line with Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum.
  • Plans parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations with Leadership Team.
  • Maintains an attractive, orderly classroom environment that fosters exploration and decision-making.
  • Provides positive reinforcement and clear expectations for behavior.
  • Handles housekeeping duties of classroom, common areas, and playgrounds.
  • Attends staff meetings and school events as required.
  • Upholds professional appearance per Employee Handbook.

Primrose School of Midtown Tulsa is a private early childhood education school serving families in the Tulsa, OK community. We are an accredited private preschool that provides a premier educational child care experience. We offer year-round programs for children from infant through elementary-aged school age. The school offers a balanced, play-based and academically focused curriculum designed to support the whole child—socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically. Primrose emphasizes a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow. Team members collaborate closely with families and colleagues to provide high-quality care and education. Primary Responsibilities
  • Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
  • Observes all rules and regulations and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
  • Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum and programming.
  • Plans with a member of the Leadership Team the parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations.
  • Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
  • Provides verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior.
  • Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgrounds.
  • Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions.
  • Maintains overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the Employee Handbook
  • Assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary.

  • High school diploma required; coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain; ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.
