Job description

Early Childhood Teacher (Education)

The New Hope Early Childhood Learning Center is seeking an experienced Teacher for our toddler-aged classroom. This full-time role offers hours from 7:45 AM to 4:45 PM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements include:

• Meeting Minnesota DHS Rule 3 or Wisconsin HFS 46 teacher qualifications, including yearly in-service requirements
• Minimum age of 18
• A commitment to working with children and families in a developmental setting
• Experience working with infants to age 5 in a diverse group setting
• Monday-Friday shifts, 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility as needed

Key responsibilities include:

This position reports to the Child Care Program Director and involves interaction with children, families, and team members from diverse backgrounds. Physical demands include movement, lifting up to 50 pounds, and responding calmly to emergencies. Flexibility to work at different locations and hours is required.
