Job summary

The Learning Experience – Canton is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher for our 2-Year-Old classroom. This role focuses on nurturing language, independence, confidence, and early friendships by creating a structured environment where children explore, learn and grow each day.

You’ll lead daily activities, support development across multiple domains, guide routines, and build strong relationships with families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with toddlers or two-year-olds is a plus.
• Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements.
• CDA or ECE coursework preferred.

• Lead daily activities and routines for our 2-Year-Old classroom
• Create developmentally appropriate hands-on learning experiences
• Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
• Encourage independence and emerging self-help skills
• Guide meals, toileting readiness, rest time, play, and transitions

• Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements

Early Childhood Teacher – 2-Year-Old Classroom

Location: The Learning Experience – Canton, MI Pay: $17–$20 per hour (based on experience and credentials) Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Canton is hiring an Early Childhood Teacher for our 2-Year-Old (Prepper) classroom.

This is an exciting stage when children are rapidly developing language, independence, confidence, and early friendships. You'll create a nurturing and structured environment that gives children plenty of opportunities to explore, learn, and develop new skills.
