What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Deliver training and technical assistance to Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) grantees and partners
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with state and territory early childhood agencies
- Provide expert consultation and support in early childhood system building efforts
- Collaborate with federal and state partners to align training and technical assistance initiatives
- Track and report on technical assistance activities and outcomes using established protocols
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, public policy, public administration, or management
- 12+ years of relevant experience in early care and education systems, including collaboration with state and federal partners
- Extensive knowledge of CCDF statute and early childhood governance and quality improvement efforts
- Prior experience providing training and technical assistance in early education
- Strong written communication skills and experience developing technical assistance materials
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in early childhood education, public policy, public administration, or management
- 10+ years of experience focusing on early childhood policies and systems at the state or national level
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish
- Experience using project management tools such as Smartsheet
- Prior experience delivering training/technical assistance through virtual platforms
