Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed speech-language pathologist for a short-term maternity leave coverage in Illinois, serving young learners in an early childhood setting. The contract runs from November 16 to January 28, with a school-day schedule from 8:00am to 3:00pm.

You will conduct assessments, provide direct therapy, and collaborate with teachers and families to meet IEP goals, while accurately documenting progress and maintaining required records.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois SLP license and PEL required.
• CCC-SLP certification.
• Experience or enthusiasm for working with early childhood-aged students.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to deliver both individual and group interventions effectively.
• Organizational skills for maintaining records and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in early childhood programs
• Provide direct therapy and support to address speech, language, and communication needs
• Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and other professionals to implement IEP goals
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to case management discussions
• Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal requirements
