Job summary

Weymouth Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Support Professional for the Early Childhood program at Weymouth Early Childhood Center. This role provides instructional support, helps implement IEP goals, and collaborates with teachers to create inclusive learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher, or 48 college credits
• Two years post-secondary education equivalent to 48 credits
• Massachusetts Parapro or WorkKeys assessment
• Familiarity with Special Education/IEPs preferred
• Experience with data collection/documentation preferred

Responsibilities

• Support and carry out instruction designed by general and special educators
• Assist educator to achieve student success
• Work with students on IEP goals and monitor progress
• Communicate with classroom teachers and service providers
