The Illinois Association of School Administrators seeks a Teaching Associate: Special Education (Early Childhood) to help create a well-organized educational environment where all students can access instruction and activities.

The position requires a Professional Educator License or equivalent, the ability to manage classroom tasks, and collaboration with teachers and staff. 178 teaching days, 11 paid holidays, and mandated training are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Professional Educator License OR Substitute License by ROE OR Paraprofessional License.
• Completion of 60 semester hours or an associate degree; acceptable alternatives.
• Ability to pass background checks and health clearance as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing a well-organized, smoothly functioning educational environment.
• Support students with and without disabilities in instructional activities.
• Report to assigned Special Education Teacher(s) and building leaders.
• Engage in classroom tasks and adapt to district resources and constraints.
