Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in daily classroom operations and create a supportive learning environment.
• Assist with behavior management and medical needs of students.
• Supervise students throughout the day.
• Assist with feeding or helping students feed themselves.
• Assist with special toileting needs.
• Monitor students to and from buses, in cafeteria, and in classrooms and hallways.
• Sanitize room and equipment.
• Assist in planning and preparing instructional materials.
• Work with small groups to reinforce material under supervision.
• Follow McAllen ISD customer service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
