Job summary

Community Action Council seeks a Site Director Assistant to help manage daily and overall facility operations, ensuring compliance and a quality learning environment for children. You will assist with program promotion, staff support, and daily care routines.

Under the Site Director's guidance, you will step in for leadership roles as needed and may perform administrative tasks. A minimum associate’s degree is required, with CDA within one year if not in Early Childhood Education.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum associate’s degree.
• If degree is in a field other than Early Childhood Education, must obtain an Infant/Toddler and Preschool CDA within one year of hire.
• Experience working with children; experience with children with special needs is highly desired.
• Good written and oral communication skills; friendly, outgoing, positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day and overall operations of the facility.
• Support learning and development for each child.
• Fill in for Site Director or classroom teacher when necessary; handle administrative duties as needed.
