Job Description

The primary responsibility of the program specialist position is to provide program implementation research, identification and implementation support and guidance across the district and individual schools. Additionally, it is to help teachers analyze their teaching behaviors to increase student performance in the program. The program specialist will work with building principals, leadership teams and teachers and will facilitate the process for adopting, implementing and monitoring a PreK district program plan including assessment, instruction, professional development, and program evaluation. The program specialist will be expected to be current in instructional strategies and model and coach teachers in program strategies.
