Job Description / Essential Elements :
Under the supervision of the Principal or Assistant Principal, the preschool classroom teacher serves children of preschool age by providing instruction, care, and support at a designated child care center. Responsibilities include developing and implementing lesson plans and instructional activities tailored to children's needs, as well as preparing and maintaining related records and reports.
Education / Experience :
Any combination equivalent to: high school graduation supplemented by college coursework in early childhood education, including at least 24 units in Early Childhood Education, and one year of educational experience working with preschool children. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
